Household and Consumer Science instructors in select universities used the Heal curriculum in their classroom instruction and then culminated the device with a recipe problem. Far more than 400 college students competed at the community stage to produce their individual distinctive recipes that are nutrient-dense and have a moderate or reduced amount of body fat, sugar and sodium.  Besides preparing a delightful snack, learners gave an oral presentation detailing the nutritional price of their recipe. Judging was based on a mix of the pupil presentation, the flavor of the snack and the wellbeing advantage of the dish. The top winners of these nearby functions then represented their university in the virtual grand championship.

                                    Dish – Oatmeal with Berries
