Five Gift Ideas for the Person Who Has Everything

4 min read

With less than a week left in the spooky season, the fall is undoubtedly underway. Halloween is right around the corner, and that truly marks the beginning of the holiday season. The leaves have been falling for weeks, while temperatures continue to drop. This also means that there’s just barely over two months left in the year 2022, and the year will be coming to a close in the blink of an eye. Even still, there’s a lot to do between now and the end of the year.

For many people, it’s around this time of year that thoughts and attention turn to gift-giving. In other words, it’s time to get started with holiday shopping if you haven’t already. Everyone has that one person in their life, though, who doesn’t really seem to need anything else.

This begs the question, what do you get someone who already seems to have everything they need and want? The following list offers a few great gift ideas for just that person.

1. Tickets to an Event

First on the list is tickets to an event. This is because events make great experiences. Even though a person, or even a couple, might have everything they need physically in their lives, there’s undoubtedly plenty of experiences for them still to enjoy and a plethora of memories yet to make.

Event tickets are also a great gift because they can be catered specifically to the interest of the gift recipient. If they’re a fan of something less mainstream like classic orchestral music, you could splurge and get them tickets to the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, or another top-tier orchestra in the country.

If the recipient is a massive sports fan, on the other hand, you could instead give them tickets to see their favorite team live in action. Even still, there are theater tickets you could gift to the stage-lover, or musical tickets for those who enjoy the spectacle.

The main idea behind giving tickets as a gift is that you’re providing an experience they might not otherwise seek out and pursue for themselves, without adding any extra clutter to their home.

2. A High-Quality Humidifier

Another great option for the person who seemingly has everything is a high quality ultrasonic cool mist humidifier. Even if they already have a humidifier, they’ll greatly appreciate the upgrade, as nothing in the humidifier industry is quite as capable as what a cool mist humidifier can do.

The ultrasonic cool mist humidifier isn’t just an excellent humidifier that operates with whisper quiet functionality, but it also features an essential oils tray

The essential oils tray is great because it adds the essential oils into the cool mist that the machine delivers on a regular basis. This freshens up the atmosphere and also imbues the mist with the attributes of the essential oils added.

All-in-all this is a great gift that is almost universally appreciated.

3. A Vacation or Get-Away

In the same vein as tickets to an event or concert is booking the recipient, and perhaps a guest of their choosing, a little vacation or get-away. Again, this is about the experience they’ll enjoy, and not so much a physical gift. Especially in today’s day that promotes hustle culture at almost every level of society, vacations can be hard to come by.

Booking a vacation for someone can be a great way to show how much you care about them, and their ability to achieve a proper and healthy work-life-balance

4. Art or Home Decor

Art and home decor is another route that you can take when trying to get a gift for someone who seemingly has it all already. This is because it isn’t so much about what the piece functions as, but rather how it makes you feel, and hopefully how it makes the recipient feel as well.

Getting a classic piece of art, or something that speaks to you and feels personal to the recipient is a great way to go, but it isn’t the only choice either. If you really want to show your appreciation for this person, you could even create the piece of art yourself, and sink time, energy, and love into your gift. The more sentimental something is, the more it will mean to someone, no matter how much they already have.

5. Something Consumable

Finally, if you really can’t figure out what to get the person who seems like they have it all, you can never go wrong with something consumable. Whether they’re a fan of wine, a fan of chocolate, or a fan of both; you can always fall-back on a little hand-made treat-basket.

Pick a beautiful basket and fill it with decadent treats you know the recipient will enjoy, without having to make room on a shelf or a wall.
